The KC Good Citizen Puppy Foundation training course covers all the basic training and socialisation skills your puppy needs to get the best start in life. Courses last 8 weeks and cover;
- Loose lead walking and off lead control
- Recall training
- Appropriate toy and food manners
- Socialisation with dogs and people
- Puppy positions: sit, down and stand
- Stay and wait
- Focus work and handling
- How to motivate your puppy
The course is open to any dogs up to the age of 12 months. All puppies must be fully vaccinated before they attend.
Classes run on Monday and Wednesday evenings at 7pm and Wednesdays at 8pm, please see our course dates for details of the next available classes!
Puppy course £70 for 8 weeks - £20 non refundable deposit required on booking
Kennel Club Award Training Classes
6 week trick training courses are run every 6 weeks. These classes focus on teaching your dog over 15 fun tricks such as roll over, play dead, paw, pray, ring the bell and many more. These classes are ideal for keeping your dog mentally stimulated and also helps to strengthen the relationship between you and your furry friend. This course is open to any dog and no previous training is needed but basic commands are beneficial. All dogs must be fully vaccinated, before they attend.
£60 per 6 week course
Kennel Club Puppy Foundation Course
These classes are for dogs wishing to gain their Kennel Club Good Citizen Bronze, Silver or Gold Award. Bronze classes cover all the basic training your dog learnt in Puppy Foundation and progresses these skills to a higher standard up to Silver and Gold. These classes are ideal for keeping your dog mentally stimulated and also helps to strengthen the relationship between you and your furry friend. All dogs must be fully vaccinated before they attend.
Silver & Gold are held at 8.15pm on Monday evenings
Bronze class is held Wednesdays at 8pm
